The Nylite Project by Tretorn
What was Björn Borg always sporting when he entered the tennis arena? A pair of Tretorn’s Nylite tennis shoes, of course. Created in 1967 and notable for being the first luxury sports shoe, the Nylites are a true symbol of the classic style that Tretorn is renowned for and celebrates the sleek simplicity that is Swedish fashion. Earlier this year, the company launched The Nylite Project in the United States, sending various bloggers a pair of the shoes to experiment and interlace with their own styles. The unique combinations, harmonizations and juxtapositions show the diversity of the product and the fun that goes into styling them, whether you’re an athlete or not. The Nylite Project Canada has now arrived and some of our top Canadian bloggers and notables are sporting the milky white shoes, inluding The Society’s very own Yvonne Ng, event manager for the Toronto chapter.
