Culture Crumb…Toronto’s growth displayed through Art

With vivid, diverse and slightly conservative portrayals of Toronto displayed in a brief 50 year history, the book Toronto through Art was published in 1983 to celebrate the city’s approaching 150th anniversary. With notable artists’ work like Lawren Harris and Kim Ondaatje, the pages document the artistic movements of the mid-90’s and present the city’s growth in everlasting moments caught and frozen in time.
