So when an artist emerges who produces breathtaking pieces that make the viewer inspired, curious and fascinated, it truly is a thing of genius. Brooklyn-based artist Shane McAdams does just that, creating art based on the notion of abstract minimalism juxtaposed with fine, intricate detailing. Using extracted, heated ink from ballpoint pens combined with various solvents, he allows his work to emerge organically through its exposure to the elements. And what an amazing result!
