Photography crumb…Turning the Bleak into the Brilliant
With an obvious taste for adventure, photojournalist Richard Mosse has been all over the world capturing some of the most terrible, fascinating and newsworthy events of our time. His new collection titled Infra not only presents the current situation of the civil war in Congo, but puts the situation in a whole new light using infrared film to juxtapose the dismal landscape of the war-torn country with vibrantly colourful effects. The series is currently being shown until December 23rd at the Jack Shainman Gallery in New York.
