cultural crumbs from the frontlines

We’re gearing up for next Thursday, June 16th where we’ll be kicking off The Society Art Series in NYC!  Members will receive an insider’s perspective on the often-elusive world of art collection and curating held at the cozy cocktail den - The Wooly (located in the bottom of The Woolworth building).

We’ll enjoy a lively discussion moderated by Vogue Contributing Editor, Moda Operandi Co-Founder and art aficionado Lauren Santo Domingo while we sip Zacapa Rum cocktails and view a fashion meets art installation by Siwy Denim.
Panelists include:
Monica Schwerin - Associate Director at Luhring Augustine, a Chelsea-based art institution since the 1980s.
Philae Knight - shares her passion for emerging artists through her much lauded work staging special exhibitions curator for the highly esteemed Phillips de
Pury & Company – an auction house whose history dates back to holding sales for distinguished collectors of the day such as Marie Antoinette.

Kyle DeWoody – a young collector who has gained notoriety for her great eye and a very refreshing approach to collecting.
